Receipt of Equipment<\/strong><br data-start=\"273\" data-end=\"276\" \/>Lessee acknowledges receipt of the motorised golf cart (the \u201cEquipment\u201d), which has been examined and found to be in good working order upon receipt, except as noted below. Lessee acknowledges that <strong data-start=\"474\" data-end=\"506\">Drouin Golf and Country Club<\/strong> owns the Equipment and that it is provided for use solely for the purpose for which it was designed, subject to the terms and conditions set out herein.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"663\" data-end=\"830\"><strong data-start=\"663\" data-end=\"689\">2. Return of Equipment<\/strong><br data-start=\"689\" data-end=\"692\" \/>Lessee shall return the Equipment to its designated storage location in the same condition as received, ordinary wear and tear excepted.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"832\" data-end=\"1075\"><strong data-start=\"832\" data-end=\"864\">3. Responsibility for Damage<\/strong><br data-start=\"864\" data-end=\"867\" \/>Lessee is responsible for all damage to the Equipment during the hire period and shall reimburse the Club upon demand for any loss, damage, or property damage caused while the Equipment is in Lessee\u2019s care.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1077\" data-end=\"1117\"><strong data-start=\"1077\" data-end=\"1115\">Sample Schedule of Damage Charges:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1118\" data-end=\"1224\">\n<li data-start=\"1118\" data-end=\"1137\">\n<p data-start=\"1120\" data-end=\"1137\">Front End: $500<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1138\" data-end=\"1156\">\n<p data-start=\"1140\" data-end=\"1156\">Rear End: $500<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1177\">\n<p data-start=\"1159\" data-end=\"1177\">Windscreen: $700<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1178\" data-end=\"1202\">\n<p data-start=\"1180\" data-end=\"1202\">Roof Package: $2,500<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1203\" data-end=\"1224\">\n<p data-start=\"1205\" data-end=\"1224\">Wheels: $500 each<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1226\" data-end=\"1566\"><strong data-start=\"1226\" data-end=\"1242\">4. Indemnity<\/strong><br data-start=\"1242\" data-end=\"1245\" \/>Lessee shall indemnify and hold Drouin Golf and Country Club harmless from all liability, including bodily injury or property damage arising from the use or operation of the Equipment by Lessee or anyone authorised by Lessee. The Club shall only be responsible for loss or damage resulting from its own sole negligence.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1568\" data-end=\"1692\"><strong data-start=\"1568\" data-end=\"1596\">5. Compliance with Rules<\/strong><br data-start=\"1596\" data-end=\"1599\" \/>Lessee shall comply with all Club rules and regulations regarding the use of the Equipment.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1694\" data-end=\"1772\"><strong data-start=\"1694\" data-end=\"1720\">6. Licence Requirement<\/strong><br data-start=\"1720\" data-end=\"1723\" \/>All drivers must hold a valid driver\u2019s licence.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1774\" data-end=\"1777\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"1779\" data-end=\"1800\">Operating Rules<\/h3>\n<ol data-start=\"1802\" data-end=\"2524\">\n<li data-start=\"1802\" data-end=\"1890\">\n<p data-start=\"1805\" data-end=\"1890\">Operators must adhere to all course signage regarding motorised golf vehicle paths.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1891\" data-end=\"2088\">\n<p data-start=\"1894\" data-end=\"2088\"><strong data-start=\"1894\" data-end=\"1930\">Maximum of 2 persons per vehicle<\/strong> at all times. Riding on the rear bumper or standing on the cart while moving is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate loss of use without refund.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2089\" data-end=\"2155\">\n<p data-start=\"2092\" data-end=\"2155\">Vehicles must not be driven by persons under 16 years of age.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2156\" data-end=\"2310\">\n<p data-start=\"2159\" data-end=\"2310\">Attempting sharp turns or excessive speed downhill may cause the vehicle to roll. Any rolled vehicles will incur <strong data-start=\"2272\" data-end=\"2307\">damage charges exceeding $2,000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2311\" data-end=\"2524\">\n<p data-start=\"2314\" data-end=\"2524\">Signing the Club\u2019s <strong data-start=\"2333\" data-end=\"2377\">Motorised Cart Hire Acknowledgement Form<\/strong> assigns full financial responsibility to the Lessee for any damage to the vehicle, course, club property, adjoining property, or other vehicles.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
