Home Timber & Hardware Monthly Medal<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Well done to Damon Whaley for winning June\u2019s Monthly Medal.\u00a0 Damon recently finished Runner Up in the Junior Club Championships and on Saturday shot his best score to finish with a nett 68, winning the medal on a count back.\u00a0 Congratulations to Damon and we look forward to watch him progress over time.<\/p>\n Presentation Night<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Presentation Night is only a few weeks away.\u00a0 For those still wanting tickets, they are still available by calling the club or seeing Randall.\u00a0 This night is sure to be great and one not to be missed.\u00a0 Feel free to bring friends and partners along as well.<\/p>\n Stroud Trophy<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n The Stroud Trophy, named in honour of life members Jack & Von Stroud, starts this week.\u00a0 This is a 3-week event, with the first 2 weeks as qualification for the 3rd<\/sup> weeks Final.\u00a0 The qualification events are a 2 player Stableford Aggregate, with the top 2 teams then playing a 4BBB Match Play Final.\u00a0 Player\u2019s handicaps for this event will remain the same as the first qualification round.\u00a0 Rounds will be handicapped as normal.<\/p>\n Pro Pin<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Starting this Saturday, the Pro Pin will now rotate between holes 5, 10 & 14.\u00a0 It will still cost $1 and all entry money will be paid into the winners prize account.\u00a0 This has been done to give more opportunity for players to win the prize.<\/p>\n Drouin Premier League<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n The Autumn edition of the Premier League has now been run and won.\u00a0 The Final was played last Saturday and saw Custard Arms up against The Broken Heads.\u00a0 The Broken Heads went into the day with 5 of their 6 players playing, while Custard Arms had 4 of their 6.\u00a0 Dave Cavanagh got The Broken Heads into the lead early with 35 points, while Mick Wardle was the 2nd<\/sup> best score with 26, leaving them with 61 points.\u00a0 Custard Arms had 2 players go out in the morning, however they couldn\u2019t match The Broken Heads score. It was left up to Tony Piner And Danny Gorman to save the day for the undefeated Custard Arms.\u00a0 It came down to the last putt with Tony Piner scoring 31 points, Danny Gorman matching him also with 31 points, leaving Custard Arms victorious with 62 points.\u00a0 Congratulations to the winning team of Tony Piner, John Piner, Frank Clebney, Danny Gorman, Phil Adams and Paul Barratt.\u00a0 Also a huge thank you to all teams and participants. I couldn\u2019t have asked for a better response to this event.\u00a0 This event will run again this year, starting in October.<\/p>\n Drouin Family Hotel Challenge<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Craig Stevens still holds onto his lead at the top with a good finish on Saturday.\u00a0 The next 3 places are close with 26 points separating Rhys Rata, Paul Barratt and Damon Whaley.\u00a0 Full results are displayed on the notice board.<\/p>\n Course Record Board<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Thanks to Dave Cavanagh who has updated the course record board.
