DROUIN FAMILY HOTEL CHALLENGE
The Family Hotel Challenge is a season long competition running on all Monthly Medal Days and Club Championship rounds from March until the final round of the Club Championships. The top 70 players* each round will receive points based on their finishing position. Points given are based on the PGA Tour’s Fed Ex Cup allocation. *Field size must have 80 players for full allocation of points to be given, field sizes under 80 players will see a percentage of the full allocation points based on the size of the field.
DWYER CUP
In recognition of the outstanding achievements in golf made by the Dwyer Family at our club, a perpetual trophy has been named in their honour. These golfing achievements include, 6 Ladies Club Championships by Kath, 5 Men’s Club Championships by Jack, 10 Men’s Club Championships & 10 Men’s Senior Championships by Shane and 1 B Grade Championship by Marcus, 14 Men’s Foursomes Championships with Jack 9 times, Shane 6 times, Marcus 3 times, Chris 2 times and 1 Stroud Trophy win with Shane & Liam.
This trophy is contested over the 8 rounds of the Seasonal Events (Autumn Amble, Winter Wade, Spring Sprint & Summer Stroll). The winner of this trophy will be the highest aggregate score using the best 5 scores from these 8 events and is open to all members of the club.
The winner for 2024 is Rob Frederickson who had 175 points (36,33,26,25,36,44).

SHOOTOUT
The Shootout is a 19 player competition played on Sunday 13th October 2024. All 19 players will tee off on the first hole and the player with the highest nett score will be eliminated after each hole until only 1 player remains. In the case of 2 or more players having the same highest score, a chip off will decide the eliminated player, with the player the furthest from the hole being eliminated.
Qualification is open to all members and will run every Saturday competition day from June 1st until September 21st. Players must register their name to be eligible for qualifying and scores will count after players have registered. The top 19 players will qualify, in the case of any ties, a count back shall be used.
