Return of the Drouin Pro-Am Delivers Epic Day!

After a 12-year hiatus, the Drouin Golf and Country Club Pro-Am returned in style, showcasing top-tier golf, community collaboration, and a spectacular day for players, sponsors, and spectators alike.

PGA Competition Highlights
Peter Wilson continued his remarkable form on the East Gippsland swing, claiming a joint victory with first-time winner Charlie Robbins. Both shot 8-under 64, finishing two strokes ahead of Riley Taylor (66). Robbins got off to a fast start with birdies surrounding an eagle at the par-5 sixth, while Wilson, despite a bogey early in his round, produced three straight birdies late in his round to match Robbins’ score.

“It’s always tough when someone shoots 8-under in the morning and you’ve got to press to shoot a low one,” Wilson admitted. “I didn’t really think I was going to do it. But then I got onto a hot run and felt like I could get there towards the end — and I did.”

For Robbins, it marked a long-awaited first professional win, a confidence boost after a challenging period on the main tour. “Really special to get the first one,” he said. “After a lot of bad golf, hitting pause and coming back excited to play made a bit of a difference.”
