Changes to Members Bar Operations
With increasing pressures around wages, cost of goods, and the need to operate sustainably, the management team — in consultation with the Board of Directors — has been reviewing ways to reduce costs while maintaining excellent service standards for our members.
Over the past month, some careful planning has gone into developing the following strategy. The aim is to manage expenses responsibly while ensuring our food and beverage offering in the clubhouse remains enjoyable and consistent. Our goal is to strike the right balance: when we’re open, the service and experience are great; and when we’re not, convenient alternatives remain available.
Updated Members Bar Opening Hours
- Tuesday: 10:00am – 2:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
- Thursday: 10:00am – 1:00pm
- Saturday: 8:30am – 6:00pm
- Sunday: 11:00am – 4:00pm
Key Details
We want to reassure members that these changes are not about reducing what’s available, but about improving efficiency and quality during operating hours.
To support this, several adjustments have been made in the Pro Shop, ensuring members, guests, and visitors continue to have access to:
- A range of cold drinks, including alcoholic options
- Free instant coffee
- A limited selection of hot and cold food options
Please note that outside of bar operating hours, tap beer and barista coffee will not be available. Staff have been instructed accordingly, so we kindly ask that members refrain from requesting these services during those times.
Members are, and always will be, welcome to enjoy the Members Lounge at any time. The only change is that service will now come from the Pro Shop counter when the bar is closed.
We believe these adjustments will help us enhance menu variety, improve service during open hours, and ensure long-term sustainability for the club’s food and beverage operations.
